Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PepBuddy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PepBuddy ("we," "our," or "us").

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PepBuddy. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Description of Service

PepBuddy is a protocol tracking application for peptide and TRT users. The Service allows you to:

  • Browse a reference library of peptide and TRT compounds
  • Create and manage dosing protocols
  • Log doses and track adherence
  • Track inventory and receive reorder notifications
  • View analytics on your protocol history

PepBuddy is intended for educational and research purposes only. The information provided through the Service, including the peptide library, dosing protocols, and any related content:

  • Is NOT medical advice
  • Is NOT a substitute for professional medical consultation
  • Should NOT be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition
  • Is provided for informational purposes only

AI-Generated Content

Portions of the content in PepBuddy, including peptide descriptions, dosing information, and research summaries, are generated or synthesized using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You should independently verify any information before making decisions based on it.

No Liability for Health Decisions

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make regarding your health, including decisions related to peptides, TRT, or any other substances.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR:

  • Any health outcomes resulting from your use of information found in the Service
  • Adverse reactions, side effects, or complications
  • Interactions with medications or other substances
  • Decisions made based on the Service's content
  • Accuracy or completeness of any information provided

ALWAYS CONSULT A QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER before starting, stopping, or modifying any protocol. The Service is not a replacement for professional medical care.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email authentication. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Account Termination by User

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Use the Service to distribute spam or unsolicited communications
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, peptide library, and all content, is owned by PepBuddy and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you input into the Service (protocols, logs, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free and Paid Tiers

PepBuddy offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Certain features are limited to paid subscribers.

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
  • You will be charged through your original payment method (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe)

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • iOS: Through your Apple ID account settings
  • Android: Through Google Play subscription settings
  • Web: Through your account settings or by contacting us

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.

No Refunds

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for:

  • Partial subscription periods
  • Unused features
  • Accidental purchases
  • Dissatisfaction with the Service

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
  • Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Any reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We are not liable for any losses resulting from account termination.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT
  • UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any errors will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPBUDDY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL
  • ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
  • ANY HEALTH OUTCOMES OR MEDICAL DECISIONS

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PepBuddy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any health decisions you make based on information from the Service

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at dev@pepbuddyapp.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Jurisdiction

Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting updated Terms in the app
  • Sending an email notification
  • Displaying an in-app notice

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, stop using the Service and delete your account.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PepBuddy regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
